We conduct research and field deployments to demonstrate a safe, effective and cost-efficient method to restore Arctic ice, informed by climate modeling and on-the-ground measurement. The Ideal Candidate for Executive Director:
You are a strategic and inspirational leader who will provide direction and leadership for the organization’s mission, vision and development. You will represent the organization and its work to potential funders and adopters. You will oversee the leadership team to advance the organization’s strategic vision, goals and objectives, including dialog with appropriate Federal, State and International organizations. As Executive Director you will Report to the Board of Directors, and in coordination with the Founder/CTO, you will provide direction and leadership for the organization’s mission, vision and development. Benefits include full health coverage for the employee and their partner/family (plus an employer-funded Health Savings Account), vision and dental insurance, four weeks paid time off (increases to five weeks after two years), and a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with a 3% fully vesting employer match. Prepare proposals focused on research topics from various outside funding agencies and organizations.
Prepare proposals for client-funded research in support of municipal projects.
Prepare technical papers for peer reviewed journals and present findings at selected conferences.
Organize, draft and coordinate production of assigned sections of various reports to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation.
Lead and conduct desktop studies, literature reviews, and related investigations for various research projects.
Plan, conduct and manage bench-, pilot- and field-scale investigations focused on water and wastewater treatment.
Interact with client, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to present and discuss all technical and non-technical elements of projects.
Provide imaginative and innovative thinking to existing and new areas of research. Devise novel and detailed approaches in developing solutions for problems encountered.

Education and Experience
