Duties : This position entails recruiting students to the Energy Management Program, mentoring/advising students and student career placement activities, as well as managing industry relations, working with industry executives to ensure program relevancy in the marketplace, affirming program quality and increasing program funding and student placement statistics. Other job duties include: The creation of program narrative, marketing materials, and value proposition, resulting in elevated program awareness, increased and stable enrollment and positioning. This will also include visiting high schools and recruiting students. Organizing, hosting, and participating in industry events and conferences. Managing advisory board relations; leading program strategy, encouraging higher education and private sector collaboration on fundraising, brand development, and program development. Collaborating with the university foundation identifying fundraising and development opportunities. Seeking funds for program operations from private and public sources. Serve as main point of contact and communicator for Energy Management students providing clear expectations, deadlines, and opportunities. Qualifications : Candidates should have great vision and entrepreneurial drive; have an extensive network of industry relationships; be a strong leader with demonstrated progressive leadership positions in the oil and gas and/or extractive industries; and have had significant experience as a land negotiator. Candidates must be able to leverage these positions for job/internship opportunities and fundraising. Required are strong communication skills, a commitment to undergraduate education, and the desire and ability to be an outstanding student recruiter, mentor, and teacher. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; a graduate or law degree is preferred. Additional Application Information: SALARY/BENEFITS: $120,000 per year.
