The Land Steward Individual Placements will serve with the VOF, other partners, and private landowners to support the open-space easement program across Northern Virginia and neighboring counties. The position will require 40 hours per week for 50 weeks, with frequent weekly and bi-weekly travel throughout the Piedmont region. Summary: American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with Shenandoah National Park, is seeking ONE Visitor Use/Curatorial Assistant to assist with interpretation, security, grounds maintenance, integrated pest management, and preservation maintenance at Rapidan Camp. The ACE Member will maximize visitor access to this historic house museum within the Blue Ridge Mountains of Shenandoah National Park.

The ECC leads efforts to improve operating areas’ environmental performance by developing and facilitating the execution of environmental improvement plans. Additionally, the ECC provides technical expertise, mentoring and coaching for site personnel/departments and the Environmental Team (auditing, requests for change (RFC)/Management of change or MOC).
