Under the direction of the Environmental Manager, the Environmental Specialist conducts required environmental tests, analysis, and observations. Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring compliance with SPCC, SWPPP, Title V requirements, PCMACT requirements, and other environmental regulatory requirements
Interfaces regularly with environmental inspectors, and requires ability to handle follow up actions from compliance inspections
Ability to recognize, analyze, and create reports used for proposing innovative solutions by applying mathematical and physical science principles, concepts, and techniques
Must comply with company safety rules and regulations
Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
Perform other duties as assigned
