We conduct research and field deployments to demonstrate a safe, effective and cost-efficient method to restore Arctic ice, informed by climate modeling and on-the-ground measurement. Qualifications / Requirements

Join a team of several environmental planners in ICF’s San Diego office located in downtown San Diego as a Senior Environmental Planner & Project Manager. The primary duties of the Senior Environmental Planner are to manage the environmental compliance process (including California Environmental Quality Act [CEQA]) and serve as a primary point of contact with local government clients, including the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, Port of San Diego, SDG&E, Water Districts, and School Districts. Join a team of several environmental planners in ICF’s San Diego office located in downtown San Diego as a Senior Environmental Planner & Project Manager. The primary duties of the Senior Environmental Planner are to manage the environmental compliance process (including California Environmental Quality Act [CEQA]) and serve as a primary point of contact with local government clients, including the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, Port of San Diego, SDG&E, Water Districts, and School Districts. Key Responsibilities

This individual will support different military bases and its units in conducting facility environmental inspections and ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and policies. Each facility within the geographic area of responsibility must be formally inspected annually. ACES may also conduct additional formal and informal inspections where positive and negative findings will be assigned to a military unit and MACOM. * Following each annual EPAS inspection, the ACES shall identify hazardous waste and materials requiring disposal and report this requirement to the Program Manager and the Hazardous Waste Program Manager. * Submit to Environmental Chief and Environmental Performance Assessment System (EPAS) Program Manager EPAS inspection memos within three (3) weeks of each facility annual inspection. * Attend up to 12 environmental planning meetings annually within their respective areas of operation. * Assist the Environmental Training PM with teaching one initial training class annually and each ACES will teach 6 environmental refresher classes annually in their areas of operation. * Assist environmental program managers with field research in conjunction with their normal site visits and EPAS inspections. * Sign hazardous waste manifests for different military bases. * Attend, in-person, the two environmental workshops during the performance period. * Assist in the development of environmental staff briefing papers and management summaries for the environmental staff * Participate in the quarterly Environmental Quality Control Committee (EQCC), and in weekly and bi-weekly conference calls with the Environmental Division and with ACES program management. * Provide assistance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents.
