The Director of Water Quality and Environmental Compliance will be responsible for the direction, administration, development and oversight over water quality, environmental stewardship and environmental rules and regulations, including those associated with the Safe Drinking Water Act & Clean Water Act throughout the NJ Division. Required Experience
Ten (10) years of experience in regulatory and environmental compliance required. Focus in environmental management of water resources and/or treatment or related technology or process development.
Experience in the management of people (direct and indirect) and budgets; development of plans and strategies.
Experience with water quality compliance strategies, bench/pilot testing, and plant performance assessment.
Environmental Reporting (i.e., Annual Waste Summaries, EPCRA Tier II Reports, SARA Toxic Release Inventory Reports, Air Emissions Inventory Reports, Annual Compliance Reports, etc.)
PE, or other professional certification preferred

- Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering or related field of study - 7+ years of experience serving as a waste technical resource, manager, program specialist, or program manager - Broad knowledge of waste regulations, programs and processes - Experience partnering with worldwide teams to develop and implement programs as well as on continuous improvement projects. - Experience leading change in multiple site environments and the ability to influence those that are not direct reports, or within your organization - Written and verbal communication skills, including interfacing with Sr. Managers and Directors - Experience demonstrating interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and achieve results - Analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability - Willing to travel up to 25%
