Job Summary The Air Quality Professional will help expand and oversee the SCS air permitting and compliance program with a particular focus on the oil and gas industry . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preparing Title V and New Source Review (NSR) air permit applications and modifications Implementing MACT and/or NSPS compliance programs Performing detailed emission calculations Reviewing and negotiating air permit conditions that are favorable toward our client’s business unit’s while maximizing operational flexibility Preparing and reviewing annual emission inventories Assist with client interface and proposal writing Implementing permit specific conditions associated engineering projects Participating in local professional/industry organizations Leading efforts to compile the appropriate technical information for periodic air compliance reports, and EPCRA submittals Coordinate with existing staff at SCS Engineers and assist clients in complying with other environmental media programs (NPDES, SPCC, RCRA etc.) Assisting with compliance audits Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in the physical sciences or engineering required Professional Certifications: (PE, EIT, CSP, CHMM, PMP, etc.) preferred 5 to 10 years in consulting with or employed by Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries required Experience with NSPS Subpart OOOO and OOOOa, NESHAP, GHG, and LDAR Knowledge of Continuous Emissions Monitors Knowledge of air quality emission software such as ProMax and E&P Tanks Air permitting experience in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, and North Dakota preferred Stack Testing and/or Air Dispersion Modeling experience Experience with infrared monitoring Experience and contacts in Houston preferred A demonstrated commitment toward safety Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational aAt SCS, you will have an opportunity to contribute to our strategic direction, help us continue to grow, and provide our clients with responsive, innovative, high quality client service.
