The Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM) is dedicated to protecting Maine's natural resources, promoting sustainable practices, and supporting Maine’s communities. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as Grassroots Outreach Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental campaigns and make a difference in Maine.
The Grassroots Outreach Manager helps build public support for NRCM and its advocacy campaigns by engaging and mobilizing NRCM members and activists, other organizations, businesses, strategic partners, and other audiences. The Grassroots Outreach Manager will report to the Outreach Director and work collaboratively with the Outreach team and other Advocacy staff to carry out a variety of organizing and mobilizing activities across a range of pending environmental policy issues in Maine. Travel and working after hours are required for this position for occasional evening and weekend events and meetings.
