GeoEngineers, Inc., a leading earth science and technology consulting firm, is seeking a Staff Geologist or Environmental Scientist for our Redmond, WA location to assist with a variety of technically challenging projects across multiple markets, including emergency spill response. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Staff Geologist or Environmental Scientist, you will play a key role on a high-energy team of talented professionals, collaborating on a broad range of environmental site assessment and cleanup projects. Specific job responsibilities include: soil and groundwater sampling, data collection, documentation of contractor cleanup activities, data analysis and report preparation. In addition, this position provides support for key clients in response to emergency environmental cleanup actions in the Puget Sound area. Additional opportunities to be involved with project and task management and client interaction may also arise.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • B.S. degree in Geology or Environmental Science.
  • Willingness and ability to be on-call 24 hours a day Monday through Friday, as well as some weekends.
  • Able to function effectively in a team environment, thinking independently while solving problems collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of physical activities and field work.
  • Valid driver's license required.
