We anticipate an opening for an environmental engineer or scientist at our corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The engineer or scientist hired will support a variety of interesting and innovative projects in LimnoTech’s service areas, potentially including:

• Watershed, stream, and lake restoration planning and design
• Environmental site investigations
• Contaminant fate and transport
• Hydraulic/hydrologic evaluations
• Stormwater management, planning, and design
• Water quality modeling and watershed assessments

Our scientists and engineers work closely with senior experts to develop sound approaches for addressing our clients’ problems.  Initial tasks are likely to include assistance with field work, data management and analysis, and interpretation and presentation of results. LimnoTech emphasizes collaborative on-the-job learning, advanced training, and professional leadership, providing team members with the tools and work environment needed to chart their career paths. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or related scientific discipline from an accredited university program is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as are strong analytical and computational abilities.
• Motivated and enthusiastic team members with good interpersonal skills thrive in our collegial organization.  If you like working with other smart, dedicated people to solve problems, we’d like to hear from you.
• Relevant work and internship experience in a professional setting are a plus but not a requirement.  Training/experience in data management and analysis, environmental site investigations, stream restoration, or other related area is desirable.
• Must be legally able to work in the U.S. for any employer (proper documentation is required).
