Davey Tree-Santa Rosa, CA provides Residential Tree Care services to Sonoma and Napa county clients and is seeking experienced climbers, tree trimmers or ground support crew for Full Time positions.

DUTIES:

• Function as a member of a tree crew while progressively learning new skills
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment as needed on job-sites
• Utilize ropes for work positioning at heights up to 60 feet, while pruning or removing trees
• Maintain issued climbing gear, chainsaw, and shared crew equipment
• Make satisfactory progress in Davey's Career Development Program
• Learn tree Identification and ANSI A300 Pruning guidelines
• Safely operate company vehicles on rotating basis

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

An ideal candidate will have 1+ year professional tree care work experience. Climbing experience is highly valuable.  Consideration will be given to candidates' having similar work experience or training.

• Passion for hard work and working outdoors; desire and willingness to learn about the tree care industry; have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Demonstrated ability to report for work regularly and punctually
• Willingness to work outdoors during a variety of weather conditions
• Valid Driver's License
