Primary Responsibilities 

HDR is currently in need of an Environmental Permitting Project Manager to be based in our Glenn Allen, VA location. The primary duties will be to prepare permit applications for major infrastructure projects and to assure compliance with the proper regulatory requirements. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of and participation in regulatory agency meetings and public meetings/hearings as required by the various permit/approval processes and client coordination agency consultation and follow-up. Projects may involve the power, oil and gas industry, roadway, rail, marine terminal and waterfront infrastructure which require environmental permitting. 


Required Qualifications 

BS/MS in Environmental Science Planning or related field required.7+ years of experience in complex environmental permitting projects is required as well as a demonstrated knowledge of USACE Section 10 and Section 404 permit application requirements Must have experience developing comprehensive permit applications.A proven track record in large and small projects and strong client and regulatory contacts required.Must be proficient with MS Office.Must be a self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills. Strong conceptual organizational problem solving and project management abilities are required.
