Job Description

Facebook is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager to join the Infrastructure Sustainability team focused on the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. This position will be focused on the life cycle of our materials and Facebook’s environmental supply chain program. We are looking for candidates with experience implementing and managing responsible supply chain activities and working with suppliers and stakeholders in technology supply chains. This position is full-time and located in our Menlo Park office.


  • Support building the strategy and execution of the supply chain circular economy, E-waste, and environmental programs
  • Examine and manage supplier performance against RSC standards and contribute to supplier performance improvement
  • Support the development and implementation of supplier capability building programs
  • Maintain and develop positive, proactive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
  • Engage with sourcing (procurement), legal, business units, and other cross-functional teams to align program objectives and manage key metrics
  • Manage data analytics and provide insights of key trends and risks
  • Contribute to internal and external reporting and communications
  • Represent Facebook externally, as needed
  • Contribute to the overall RSC program strategy, roadmap, and implementation
  • This role requires travel (10%-20%)


  • B.A. or B.S. in business management, environmental sciences or similar
  • 4+ years of experience in the fields of corporate social responsibility, supply chain environmental management, social compliance, or hardware life cycle management
  • Program management experience with demonstrated experience delivering programs on a regional level
  • Proven experience delivering results through personal leadership and influencing others
  • Proven experience to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
  • Communication experience


  • Experience in supply chains and hardware life cycle management
  • An advanced degree in sustainability related field, human rights, environment, health & safety, corporate responsibility or public policy
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Nepalese, Thai, Vietnamese, Burmese and/or Indonesian
