Summary

This position is being filled under the Pathways Internship Program. This Internship Program provides students who are enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in a wide variety of qualifying educational institutions with paid opportunities to work and explore career paths related to their academic fields of study or career interests.

Students will perform a wide variety or duties in the scientific or professional fields designed to meet DOE’s mission and the student's learning objectives.

As a Student Trainee (Biological Science); you will:

Duties

  • Collects information, prepares routine papers, assists in technical reviews and evaluations
  • Develop and maintain contacts with project personnel in order to gain knowledge.
  • Participates in meetings, reviews and makes recommendations to improve objectives.
  • Assists in the preparation of a variety of reports to reflect project status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
