Job Description

Northwest Youth Corps' Washington summer programming office is located on picturesque Lake Wenatchee, Washington, in the heart of Okanagan-Wenatchee National Forest and all its recreational glory.  The intern will be housed at NYC’s headquarters office on the USFS Lake Wenatchee compound.  The intern will have three primary responsibilities: (1) helping support youth and young adult crews by coordinating food and tool resupply; ( (3) helping provide direct service on public space in and around the Lake Wenatchee USFS compound, and; (3) may help inventory the state of trails/outdoor assets in the Okanagan-Wenatchee National Forest.  The intern may also help set up “weekend sites” and weekend site activities for crews.
