About the Position: This is a seasonal position. Seasonal employment means annually recurring periods of work that typically last six months each year, but may vary depending upon the needs of management. It is anticipated this position will work March through October. Seasonal positions are permanent. Employees are placed in a non-duty, non-pay status in the off-season and recalled to duty the following work season.

- Answers visitors' questions requiring knowledge of a variety of facts, events, rules, regulations, and the Project's natural characteristics.
- Researches, develops and presents limited interpretive programs including: guided tours of the project and/or dam; educational talks and multimedia presentations; and programs to local schools and community organizations.
- Participates in a variety of resource management projects designed to maintain and enhance the resources and to provide a quality natural environmental experience for the public.
- Assists higher graded park rangers with administrative duties.
Occasional travel - Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is approximately 5 percent.
