Job Description

Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is seeking to fill a Staff Professional position in our Novi, MI office location.

This position will primarily perform duties associated with groundwater and soil sampling, site remediation oversight, monitoring well installation oversight, technical reporting, technical data evaluation, work plan generation and task management. Qualified individuals must have strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written), and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong technical support team. This position will also be responsible for managing and maintaining field supplies and overseeing the safety and technical activities of field subcontractors.

This is a full-time position with 70% of anticipated regional travel. This may require working alone in remote locations and/or out of state work supporting other company offices.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, applicable engineering degree program or related field;
  • 0-2 years of related environmental, health and/or safety oversight experience;
  • Mechanical skill/aptitude preferred;
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Strong data collection, evaluation, and technical writing skills;
  • Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Experience in one or more areas; drilling, environmental media sample collection, evaluation and implementation of remedial technologies, environmental compliance programs, environmental permitting, and due diligence;
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in wooded or rugged terrain, and handle seasonally high/low temperatures based upon project needs;
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record;
  • Ability to work independently and with good self-initiative;
  • Ability to successfully pass a company-paid physical examination and drug screen;
  • 40 hour HAZWOPER OSHA certification a plus
