Golder’s Florida Ecology Team is seeking an experienced ecologist to join our team working on a range of power and infrastructure projects. Project work will be varied, covering a broad range of ecological and environmental permitting services. 

Key Work Areas

  • State and federal wetland delineation in Florida, including jurisdictional determinations, functional assessments, and mitigation proposals
  • Threatened and endangered species surveys and evaluations 

The successful candidate shall be self-motivated, confident and affable with the desire to develop as an individual and build successful working relationships with colleagues and clients. 

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Ecology or related discipline required
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in field work, wetland delineation, and listed species survey techniques
  • Fluency in regulatory agency guidelines in the state of Florida (FDEP, FWC, USACE, USFWS)
  • Capable of working independently and effectively with in team
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Self-motivated, reliable and dedicated individual
