Job Description

Two visitor services assistant interns are stationed at Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge and are considered CWA paid interns and USFWS volunteers.  VSAs do a variety of duties: work in the Visitor Center store and exhibits, lead the refuge auto tour, lead classroom and outdoor education programs, assist with the Junior Duck Stamp Program and Art Contest, interact with the general public, teachers and students, maintain trail signage and refuge equipment, and take on other visitor services department supportive tasks as assigned.  This is a Seasonal, full-time position from September/October of one year to mid-April of the following year.  To learn more and how to apply, please email mmaupin@calwaterfowl.org.
