Job Description

About the Opportunity:

The Communication Coordinator will provide day-to-day support to the Marketing team by assisting with social media coordination, consumer inquiries, website reviews, targeted donations, email marketing & other communications and marketing initiatives as required.

This is a full-time contract position, on a one year term.

Critical Outcomes for this Role Include:

Support the Communications team to build the Nature’s Path, EnviroKidz, Love Crunch, and Que Pasa brands with:


Social Media Coordination

  • Assistance coordinating content and scheduling posts
  • Responding to questions on social media and engaging with the audience
  • Assisting with content aggregation and moderation of campaign specific initiatives


Content development & coordination

  • Managing all blog and recipe formatting, posting & publishing
  • Coordinating external contributors according to the editorial calendar
  • Coordinating external email program
  • Conducting ongoing keyword research and advising on keyword trends
  • Managing organization of digital assets, licensing and rights


Website Maintenance

  • Updating website content including liaising with business and e-commerce teams to keep product, packaging and nutritional information up to date
  • Moderating web comments and reviews
  • Refreshing site content as required


Internal Communications

  • Information organization, create a naming convention and overhaul where and how all product descriptions (digital, packaging, special retailers) are stored/formatted
  • Review and arrange targeted donations

Success in this Role will Require:

Education & Experience

  • Strong understanding of social media channels and content
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Good problem solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Good project management skills
  • Basic understanding of Website CMS
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing practices
  • Media/marketing/PR degree preferred
