Successful Associate Project Managers direct multiple activities and engage in broad client contact, project design, supervision, budgeting and auditing.
Associate Project Managers are responsible for: (1) establishing causation, (2) designing project budgets, (3) assessing and allocating vendor service costs, (4) devising and executing investigation/remediation strategies, as well as (5) supervising professional staff and contractor personnel. In-house professional training is provided.
Qualified candidates have the following skills and/or credentials:
3 years or more of direct site investigation and remediation experience.
Academic degrees in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
Advanced degrees are highly desired but not required.
Knowledge of regional technical requirements, rules and regulations.
Demonstrated success in supervising sub-contractor personnel.
Strong work ethic and collegial personality.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Sharp critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
