Job Description

The qualified candidate will have experience (5+ years) in the Environmental Services or Civil Construction industry.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Schedule and conduct monthly project review meetings to discuss project status, including schedule dates and budget
o Schedule reviewing meetings with external clients and/or consultants
▪ Discuss project scope, estimates, work authorizations, and status of invoices
• Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals
• Responsible for project closeout as needed (final invoicing, filing, etc.)
• Prepare and review change orders and their validity
• Participate in department meetings
• Complete cost estimates on projects
• Manage completion of projects
• Heavy use of Outlook (email, calendar and task management), Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents
• Experience with MS Project helpful
• Manage internal and external resources, compile reports, track labor hours
• Create project schedules and communicate changes to the team as necessary
• Complete specific assignments, as requested
• Estimating experience helpful
• Knowledge of estimating software such as Bid2Win necessary
• Some travel to project sites will be required

Experience, Education, Certification:

• Associates Degree with five or more years equivalent work experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with three or more years of equivalent experience
• Experience in various aspects of Project Coordination in the Environmental Services or Civil Construction industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, show capable of having organizational and planning skills, as well as having an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with ability to work with internal office team, field staff, and clients
• Ability to plan, set, and achieve goals
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and fellow employees
• Ability to develop budgets, estimate costs, and create a schedule for projects
• Ability to lead by example, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Superior level of personal character and integrity
• Environmental and safety training/certification is a plus
• Military Service with honorable discharge is a plus
