We are looking for a motivated, consulting industry-oriented, Senior Scientist with proven experience in Environmental Remediation with a focus on geochemistry. The role is designed to support projects throughout the US and globally. 

The successful candidate must have expertise in application of geochemical and hydrogeologic tools and techniques to assist clients in implementing best in class remediation solutions for their sites.  Specific skills include but are not limited to knowledge and experience in geochemical forensics, relationships between biotic and abiotic processes, organic and inorganic geochemistry, application of geochemical relationships to refine remedial options and understanding of contaminant chemistry for emerging compounds.  

This position will require strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the proven ability to grow junior practitioners.

This is a full-time role with up to 30% travel anticipated to support regional, national and global clients. The successful candidate will be located in one of the following Antea®Group office locations: Seattle, WA; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; St. Paul, MN; Greater Philadelphia; Boston, MA or Denver, CO.

Minimum Requirements 

  • Master’s Degree in Hydrogeology, Chemistry or Geophysics, PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of Environmental Remediation consulting experience
  • Demonstrated success in developing remedial solutions in a complex RCRA/CERCLA environment  
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills/attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy and initiative
  • Ability to work independently and produce results
  • Proactive thinking
