As an Ecologist within the Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (WARC), some of your specific duties will include:

  • Develop a new research program related to quantitative modeling and evaluation of animal populations and their habitats focusing on the southeastern U.S.
  • Utilize research methods that can provide scientific basis for natural resource management decisions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in ecological modeling.
  • Disseminate research results via final reports, peer-reviewed scientific journals; make presentations on findings to scientific and conservation organizations.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - Overnight travel of up to 2 nights per month may be required.
