Job Description

Coordinate the development, implementation, certification and sustainability of the Advanced Environmental Management System (EEMS / ISO 14001) integrated into the MQAS Quality Management System, within the direction of Manufacturing Engineering (ME Mexico / SEE&ST Mexico), keeping updated the System’s documented information; as well as ensuring compliance with corporate and legal environmental and security requirements. Supporting the environmental process owner (EPO) and the MQAS coordinator. 

Support the integration of the World Class Technology System (WCT) in the ME Mexico and SEE&ST Mexico activities. 

Coordinate the determination of a ME Mexico context and the establishment of an Environmental Policy.
a.-Coordinate the establishment of ME Mexico environmental objectives and evaluate system’s environmental performance.
b.-Coordinate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
c.- Coordinate the determination and communication of Significant Environmental Aspects and Impacts.
d.-Train and educate employees and contractors about the importance of complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System.
e-Coordinate Internal Audits to the Environmental Management System and Regulatory Compliance Assessments.
f.- Resource Management (Manejo de Activos)Coordinate the procurement of outsourced services for waste management in accordance with the General Law for the Prevention and Integral Management of Waste and its Regulations.
g.-Coordinate the acquisition of external services contracted for the management of Environmental and Security Permits and Licenses before government agencies in Mexico.
h.-100Review environmental initiatives to be included in the investment plans of the projects assigned to ME and SEE & ST Mexico.
