The Dow Chemical Company is offering a great career opportunity in an international environment. We are looking for an ambitious graduate to join the Rotational Program for Environment, Health & Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) based in Midland, MIAbout the Program

The EHS&S Rotational Program is designed to broaden your global experience, business acumen, functional expertise and critical professional skills. This role offers you the opportunity to launch your career at an industry leader in EHS&S, across a variety of disciplines such as product safety, operations regulatory, health services and sustainability. Experience may include strategy/value proposition, work process development, metrics and reporting, regulation interpretation and application, improvement activities and service delivery.   

What to expect

During the two-year program you will have a chance to experience up to four different job assignments within our EHS&S function. You will have the opportunity to take on challenging projects and learn best practices and processes that will help you develop business-critical competencies and position you for success in your future career within EHS&S at Dow. One or more Dow leaders will serve as mentors to guide you along the way. You will be expected to perform at levels beyond your peers, at an accelerated phase of learning and development. This program is designed to determine long term career placement within EHS & Sustainability.  


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.700/4.000 is required.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, or a Specialized EH&S Discipline is preferred.
  • Solution-orientated with a client-focused mind set.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, high team spirit, initiative and ability to work independently.
  • A strong cultural awareness, as well as the ability to work in a global team environment.
