About the Position:

This is a Natural Resources Specialist (Ranger), GS-0401-05/07/09 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, Operations Division, with a duty location of Okay, Oklahoma. This position is developmental and may be filled at either grade level. IF selected at the developmental level, non-competitive promotion to the next level may occur when all regulatory requirements are met. Promotion is at management's discretion."

  • You will serve as a Natural Resources Specialist (Ranger) for a major water resource project. You will coordinate long and short-range planning and execution of all activities related to one or more of the following:
  • Recreation and Park Administration
  • Environmental Stewardship
  • Fisheries and Wildlife Management
  • Public Relations
  • Soil and Water Conservation
  • Historic property management and protection
  • Visitor assistance, public safety and education
