The Air Quality Program (AQP) is looking to fill the VW Settlement Project Specialist (Environmental Specialist 3) (In-Training) position. The position will be located in our Headquarters Building in Lacey, WA.

The Volkswagen Settlement Project Specialist position assists senior staff in oversight of the state and federal Volkswagen settlements and administration of the federal mitigation fund. The position provides support, facilitation, and administration of the settlement programs. The position provides grant guidance, communications and outreach, research, and analysis in supporting senior staff and management. The work must be done consistent with federal consent decrees, trustee guidance, and gubernatorial and legislative direction. The position works with a wide array of public and private external stakeholders and closely with senior staff and budget analysts to establish, maximize, and track effective funding programs.
