POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Specialist for our West San Antonio, Texas office. The primary responsibilities of this position include the site inspection of multiple linear corridor construction projects for compliance with Project Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP). This position requires extensive travel (80%), with projects typically located within a 3- to 6-hour driving distance. Other tasks may include:
We are seeking a motivated, self-sufficient, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to support the environmental team.
The successful candidate will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals throughout the firm who are focused on solving our client’s environmental challenges. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with project staff, client representatives and resource agencies.
This Environmental Specialist will perform, and deliver project assignments, with the associated responsibility for meeting profitability, quality management, and safety goals.
