Description

  • Work closely with senior technical staff and client service managers to provide geotechnical and civil engineering expertise including:
    • Stormwater management
    • Infiltration modeling
    • Cap and cover design
    • Surface water hydrology
    • Geotechnical analysis
    • Site investigation and remediation
    • Soil and water sampling
    • Earthwork mass balance
  • Help the project teams build relationships with existing clients
  • Work with senior staff to help develop business opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Oversight for geologic and geotechnical exploration, including planning and execution
  • Soil and groundwater investigations
  • Lithological, mineral, geotechnical and geochemical sampling and analysis
  • Environmental compliance services
  • Design calculations
  • Data collection and documentation
  • Assisting with technical reports (strong technical writing skills preferred)
  • Work independently exercising professional judgment to develop recommended solutions that meet client expectations and goals. 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field; MS preferred
  • 5-10 years of professional engineering experience required
  • MS Office Suite
  • Mining experience a plus.
  • Surpac or equivalent (e.g. Vulcan, MineSite) modeling experience preferred
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus
  • Hydrologic modeling experience a plus
  • Excellent technical writing capabilities
  • Experience in the consulting field preferred
  • Must be willing to travel and work in the field occasionally
