Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will support the implementation of Bunge’s global sustainability strategy by developing material data frameworks to be used as a platform for governance related to sustainability matters, coordinate data collection and analysis to support decision making. In this role you should be able to identify, collect and analyze sustainability related data in multiple systems and environments and consolidate them into an operational platform where information can be extracted and translated into knowledge for internal and external use.

 

Core Functions:

  • Identify and collect data from multiple sources to be used for sustainability management
  • Build, maintain and enhance database(s) to be used in sustainability assessments of internal issues / external impacts
  • Manage KPIs, connecting them with Bunge’s commercial value proposition
  • Support research and development of systems that could be integrated in the sustainability platform, linking it to customer needs
  • Interact with multiple internal areas to enhance data analysis
  • Coordinate supply chain traceability data systems
  • Support supply chain monitoring activities, data gathering and analysis

 

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences or related degree
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental related areas where project management and communications skills were fully exercised.
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), statistics and data analysis
  • Knowledge about geospatial mapping and satellite imagery
  • Ability to manage data from different sources formats and units
  • Skilled in project management techniques
  • Knowledge of Environment indicators
  • Knowledge of Global Reporting Initiative standards (GRI indicators)  and Carbon Disclosure Project guidelines (CDP reports)
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, MS Excel tools
  • Committed to producing quality finished work
  • General understanding about Agribusiness and Food Production Chain desired
  • Familiarity with sustainability issues that affect global economy
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
  • Willingness to learn
