The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Manage all activities related to Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Phase II Environmental Site Investigation projects, including client interactions, project financials, project coordination, and subcontractors. Depending on additional skill sets, manage and execute additional projects that fall under a different technical practice area.
Willing and able to respond to urgent requests and work to meet tight deadlines typical of property transaction projects.
Effectively manage projects located in other areas of the United States and internationally, utilizing local staff to conduct on-site work and report writing.
Prepare proposals for existing clients, and for new client opportunities requested by AECOM market sector leads and client account managers.
Prepare complex scientific reports and conduct on-site environmental assessments at complex facilities.
Review and edit scientific reports prepared by others.
Adhere to project controls and quality requirements meeting AECOM’s ISO certification.
Effectively use AECOM systems for project management, financial accounting, safety, subcontractor evaluation, and project quality, and meet required project metrics.
Project Management responsibilities will be included in this position
BS degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering or a related field or Advanced college degrees
4+ years of experience
Experience managing Phase I ESA and Phase II Environmental Site Investigation projects.
Thorough working knowledge of ASTM International Standard E1527-13 and E2247-16, as applied to writing and reviewing reports, and minimizing litigation risk to AECOM.
Experienced with standard Microsoft Office software applications.
Previous experience working for an environmental consulting company.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong communications, planning and organizational skills.
Strong technical writing skills.

A diverse background of experience in environmental consulting.
Experience managing low to moderate complexity environmental projects including EHS or remediation related projects a plus.
Professional Geologist, Professional Engineer, CIH, or similar professional registration.
Experience with asbestos surveys and abatement oversight.
