Job Description

We are EnSafe Inc., an employee-owned, global professional services firm.  We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients.  We are currently accepting applications for an Environmental Scientist/Engineer in our Hartford, Connecticut office.

Responsibilities are wide ranging and include: planning and performing site investigation activities including soil, groundwater, and vapor studies, remediation design, installation, and operation; preparation of work plans; management of field health and safety, drilling, and scheduling; subcontractor oversight; writing technical reports; conducting Phase I’s; other projects may include storm water, wastewater, air, solid and hazardous waste management, permitting, and pollution prevention.  Knowledge of CT RSRs, CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and other environmental legislation desirable.

We require a BS in engineering or an appropriate technical discipline and three to six years of experience. HAZWOPER training and professional certification is preferred as well.
