CDM Smith currently has a new opportunity for an experienced PD&E/NEPA Sr. Project Manager to join our Transportation Group in Orlando! CDM Smith has been providing transportation services in Florida for over 50 years. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith’s mission by:

-Leading large complex transportation FDOT PD&E projects
-Assisting the design team on other large scale transportation design and design build projects
-Arranging, facilitating and preparing for meetings with FDOT
-Building and managing relationships with key FDOT leaders
-Engaging in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and public workshops
-Mentoring and training staff
-Assisting in the development of building new practice lines

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field
-At least 12 years of experience on PD&E/NEPA transportation projects since Bachelor's degree
-PE in Florida or ability to obtain within one year
-Current Project Management certification (either PMP,CCM, or DBI) or ability to receive within 12 months of start date
-Knowledge of PD&E/NEPA documents (CEs, EAs, EISs), permitting process, and associated technical reports for transportation 
-Excellent writing and communication skills
-Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat

Certification/License Requirements - Professional Engineer

Amount of Travel Required: 10%
