Job description: Environmental Engineer
VALID QSP Certification Required
Assist in preparing work plans and technical reports, including Phase I/II ESAs.Coordinate, conduct, and document routine fieldwork assignments, including but not limited to coordinating subcontractors to drill borings/monitoring wells; sampling various environmental media (i.e., soil, groundwater, soil gas, storm water, air, sediment); conducting aquifer testing, remedial technology pilot tests, and construction observation; monitoring well elevation surveys; and performing other assignments with minimal to no supervision in the field.
Assertively direct others in the field, such as subcontracted drillers, construction/excavation contractors, utility locators, and others to consistently complete project tasks safely and efficiently.
Demonstrate familiarity with appropriate state and federal regulatory programs, including appropriate health and safety regulations required to perform typical field and office tasks.
Assist in coordinating field work permitting. Thoroughly document investigation and remediation activities.
Compile data for various regulatory and technical reports.
Able/willing to travel distances to work site.
Complete physical fieldwork in an outdoor environment.
