The Wastewater Operations Manager classification is assigned to the Sewer and Storm Section of the Environmental Services Department.
Under general direction from the Water and Sewer System Division Manager, the Wastewater Operations Manager manages one or more of the programs in the Sewer and Storm Section. These programs include: sanitary sewer operation and maintenance and storm drain maintenance.
The Wastewater Operations Manager is distinguished from the next lower class of Wastewater Collections Supervisor by the level of supervisory, administrative and budget responsibilities.
