Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Scientist to join the team in our Plymouth, Wisconsin, office. We are a team of talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about what we do and enjoy providing personalized attention to our clients. This person will focus on providing technical assistance, regulatory review, training and detailed environmental and health/safety plans for our valued clients.

You will uphold the firm’s high standards for consulting services and be responsible for the successful completion of client projects. You will retain and bring in new clients. You will develop programs, perform training, complete reporting, and service a wide variety of municipal and industrial clients in a broad range of services. You will manage project budgets, schedules and perform high-level technical work, including maintaining client contacts. 

What it takes
You should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety, environmental services or a relevant discipline and appropriate experience. Discipline examples could be Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Geology, Water Resources, Biology, Chemistry, or Earth Sciences.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of five years of progressive relevant experience in either an industrial setting or with a professional consulting firm. Registered professional in area of practice or possession of related certifications and/or licenses is desirable.

You should speak and write well – something we take seriously. You should have strong analytical and organizational skills. 

You must be self-motivated and work effectively independently (with little or no direct supervision) and in teams.
