Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Technical Specialist in our Columbia, SC office. We are seeking a Project Manager consultant/senior consultant in one of our Woolpert offices or as a telecommuter based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must have experience in projects specific to stormwater management, stormwater design, erosion prevention and sediment control and NPDES stormwater program compliance.
  • Candidate must have experience in working with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) and Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM).
  • Candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and QA/QC for complex, diversified stormwater management projects and NPDES compliance projects.
  • Candidate will develop and document standard practices and coach and mentor other team members in skill development areas.
  • Candidate will provide technical expertise in the preparation of proposals, presentations and act as a technical expert and representative of Woolpert at various business development functions, as needed.
  • Candidate must be capable of presenting speeches or training at appropriate venues and publish articles for professional/trade/civic organizations to increase Woolpert’s visibility and credibility in the stormwater market.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Candidates must have 35 years related experience.  

  • Qualified candidates will possess a South Carolina Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspector (CEPSCI) certification.
