We have an opportunity in our Carlsbad, NM office for an Environmental Technician, who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant, well-established company.

  • Performing field task coordination to include planning and implementing environmental field work such as monitoring well installation, groundwater monitoring and due diligence assessments.
  • Support sampling efforts in the field; support spill remediation work/SPCC.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, data reports, standardized documents and work plans for internal and client review.
  • Oversight of contractors in the field. 

Skills, Competencies, Qualifications:

  • BS in Geology, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering or a related field of study
  • 1-3 years of previous experience including a focus on field support for environmental projects.
  • Ability to perform field work and travel overnight.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training is a plus Knowledge of upstream and midstream oilfield operations is helpful
  • Valid Driver's License
