Job Description

EnSafe Inc. is an employee-owned, global professional services firm.  We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients.  We are currently accepting applications for an Environmental Scientist in our Long Beach, California office. 

This person will provide support our clients with coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental regulatory compliance, site investigations, and permitting.  Experience with federal and State of California environmental programs/requirements, such as SARA 312 and 313 reporting, SPCC rules, industrial and hazardous waste, air permitting, water/wastewater, along with other federal and state regulatory requirements, is desirable. 

There are no typical days at EnSafe, so you may go from doing fieldwork, to compiling data and preparing reports, to assisting with labor/material estimates.  We require a minimum of a BS in engineering, geology, or related environmental science. One-Two years’ experience and HAZWOPER training is preferred. Strong consulting and problem solving skills and experience in the field are required.
