Job Description

Memphis, TN, US
Nashville, TN, US

EnSafe Inc. is an employee-owned, global professional services firm.  We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients.  We are currently accepting applications for an Environmental Compliance Specialist/Project Manager in our Memphis, Tennessee office (we would also consider Nashville for the right candidate).

This person will provide client and project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental regulatory compliance and permitting.  Experience with EPCRA 312 and 313 reporting, hazardous waste requirements, SPCC requirements, storm water/wastewater permitting, and compliance auditing is desirable; robust experience with air emission source permitting requirements is required.

There are no typical days at EnSafe, so you may go from doing fieldwork, to compiling data and preparing reports, oversight of projects, mentoring junior level staff, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken to address non-conformance at client sites, to assisting with labor/material estimates and proposals.  We require a minimum of a BS in engineering or related environmental science with at least eight years’ experience (ideally, 10 to 15 years); a PE is preferred.  Strong consulting and problem solving skills, and experience in the field are required.

EnSafe’s philosophy is to seek individuals with extraordinary talent and to keep them on the cutting edge of emerging technologies through continuing professional development. Our employees are outgoing, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.  Communication – both written and verbal - is also critical to success.  Overnight travel will be required.

EnSafe offers competitive salaries and benefits, an outstanding work environment, and the opportunity to work on innovative and exciting projects.  For consideration, submit your cover letter, salary expectations, and resume.
