This job is responsible for managing and overseeing the management of all elements of PHI’s Environmental Management System (EMS) to address all environmental aspects of PHI’s business and verify environmental compliance and performance. 

This position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or physical science discipline and 10 years experience in environmental program management, utility operations, and engineering.

Availability to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Knowledge:

 Detailed knowledge of the environmental requirements and regulations associated with PHI’s daily line organization activities such that compliance needs are met. 

Skills/Abilities: 

Demonstrated ability to direct the activities of others.

 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

Completion of Leadership Assessment required.

Qualifications 

Reports to VP – PHI Support Services. 

Manages specialized work in a functional area. 

Participates in developing or implementing strategy/policy.
