About the Position: This is a Natural Resources Specialist (Ranger), GS-0401-05/07/09 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, Operations Division, located in Gore, Oklahoma.

This position may be filled at the GS-05 with promotion potential to the GS-07 and GS-09 or at the GS-07 with promotion potential to the GS-09 or at the full performance GS-09. Promotion is at the discretion of management.

  • You will serve as a Natural Resources Specialist (Ranger) for a lake project office. You will coordinate long and short-range planning and execution of all activities related to one or more of the following:
  • Recreation and Park Administration
  • Environmental Stewardship
  • Fisheries and Wildlife Management
  • Public Relations
  • Soil and Water Conservation
  • Historic property management and protection
  • Visitor assistance, public safety and education

Travel Required

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
