Description
The Assistant Scientist and Geologist will assistwith environmental site assessments, field studies, development of soil and groundwater sampling plans, data analysis, GIS analysis, site remediation, and preparation of environmental reports, permits, and assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology or a related natural science degree from an accredited program required.
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
0 to 3 years professional experience.
Prior internship or natural science field experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information.
Must be proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
