We have recently established a Joint Venture, with the vision of building a strong, sustaining and profitable “PMC National Champion” to oversee major social infrastructure programs throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The aim of the PMO is fully aligned with the wider mandate to contribute to economic growth, diversify the economy and enhance national investment to deliver on the overarching Vision 2030.
Working as a senior member within the Programme Team, your primary goal will be to contribute to the achievement of sustainability and environmental commitments by integrating sustainability into all aspects of the masterplanning, design, construction and operations of a major construction programme.
You will be required to: adapt to the changing demands of the Programme, manage the sustainability activities of multiple projects simultaneously, understand how sustainability fits into the broader context of a large-scale construction programme, and assist with the team’s key responsibilities:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified in either an Architectural, Engineering, Environmental or Sustainability related discipline and will come with experience in consulting on a major construction/development programme ideally within the context of masterplanning.
You will have experience in engaging with external stakeholders to collaborate on sustainability, have a broad understanding of sustainability with in-depth knowledge of at least one sustainability related discipline (green building design, energy, water, waste, carbon management, etc.) and have effective client management skills.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Preference will be given to those who have furthered their qualifications in their field of expertise i.e. Masters, have relevant experience in the UAE, and who come with an in-depth knowledge and firsthand experience in the implementation of at least one sustainability rating systems (e.g. LEED, CEEQUAL, Estidama, BREEAM, etc).
