Arcadis is seeking an Environmental or Civil Engineering student looking for a summer internship experience.  Arcadis continually seeks dynamic individuals looking for career exposure to environmental consulting. An internship can include, but not limited to, exposure to activities such as: 

  • Coordination with project managers and senior engineering staff in planning environmental and geotechnical investigation and remediation tasks
  • Site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies
  • Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC
  • Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support
  • Interpreting and evaluating field and analytical data to prepare engineering designs, permit applications, and construction-related documents
  • Environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remedial system and remedial construction design and assessments
  • Support the management of client sustainability initiatives and verify subcontractor compliance.
  • Assist with constructability reviews and preparation of engineering specifications. 

Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MS Office and desire to pursue a career in the environmental sector.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest in working in the environmental sector
  • Intern positions require a current valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 40-hour Health & Safety Training
