Job Description

Our Charleston, South Carolina office is currently seeking applicants for a geologist/engineering position in. Responsibilities will include: planning and participation in field investigations of soil/groundwater contamination and vapor intrusion studies, compiling and interpreting investigation data, preparation of technical reports, and evaluations of potential responses/corrective actions.  Other projects may include storm water, water, wastewater, solid and hazardous waste management, and pollution prevention. Knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, TRRP, CWA, OPA 90, and other environmental legislation desirable.  Proficiency in database management a plus. 

At a minimum, we require a BS in Geology or Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, with a minimum of five years’ experience.  Previous experience executing projects under federal assessment, remediation, and munitions programs preferred.  Professional licensure in geology or engineering a plus.  Current HAZWOPER training and certification is desirable.  Up to 50% travel may be required.
