The selected candidate will have a role in day-to-day client service and business development and will help develop our presence and establish our assessment and remediation capabilities in the intermountain west markets. Typical business-development activities will include building and maintaining client relationships, tracking marketing leads and project opportunities, developing proposals and presentations, networking, and sharing Barr’s capabilities with existing and potential clients. Project work may include managing multidiscipline teams; preparing technical work plans, cost estimates; coordinating ASTM Phase I environmental site assessments; investigating contaminated soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor intrusion; conducting remediation technology evaluations and feasibility studies; developing site management strategies and response action plans; coordinating site remediation activities; and evaluating the hydrogeologic impacts of mining and energy development. Additionally, the selected candidate will lead client and regulatory negotiations and mentor junior staff.
