Job Description

EHS Manager Major Responsibilities:

The EHS Manager is responsible for advising Plant personnel on applicable legal requirements and is responsible for: Understanding all facility permit requirements and communicating such requirements to facility management; Developing, completing and filing all necessary documentation and/or reports in accordance with applicable reporting and record keeping requirements; Completing a compliance calendar for all required activities and reporting obligations; Developing and coordinating all environmental, health and safety programs; Ensure program and EHSMS accountability and integrity.

Skills Required:     

PC knowledge/computer literate Familiarity with OHSA legal requirements Familiar with environmental reporting requirements Knowledge of ISO14001/OHSAS 18001 Familiar with a manufacturing environment Good interpersonal skills Good organizational and planning skills Excellent verbal/written communication skills Project management skills desirable

Education Required:

High school graduate 4 year college degree preferred
