Job Description

The Environmental Field Chemist will be working at our customer location in Ponoma, NY. Our Environmental Field Chemist position gives new chemist the opportunity to gain experience out in the field. Working with Household Hazardous Waste from small businesses. This position offers lots of room for advancment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting with collecting, identifying and packaging hazardous/non-hazardous waste produced within customer facility
  • Prepare waste drums for pick-up and delivery
  • Hazardous Household Waste collections
  • Interact with customers and the public daily
  • Answer phone calls and manage customer requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and grounds.
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, focus in chemistry preferred
  • 1 year related work experience
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications
  • Superior customer service skills
  • 40 hour OSHA and Forklift training preferred
